We are grateful for the financial support of the ELCA and the synods of Region 1. But these sources of financial support do not cover the cost of providing ministry and programs to students, faculty and university staff. The majority of our budget is raised through donations from congregations, individuals, and fundraising activities.

You can help provide solid support for our ministry by contributing cash, writing a check, designating Luther House as an insurance beneficiary, donating property or stocks, and other ways, too. Luther House is a registered 501(C) organization and as such, any donation you make is tax deductible. Please use any of the following giving options:

Donation by check: checks may be made out to Luther House and mailed or dropped off in person at 211 NW 23rd Street, Corvallis, OR 97330.

Electronic Giving: To make an easy, safe, secure donation online, please visit Vanco Services. Electronic fund transfers and credit cards are accepted.

Thrivent Choice: If you are a Thrivent Financial member who has a qualifying policy, you can now make a targeted donation to Luther House using Thrivent Choice. Please watch your mail to know if you’re eligible and then follow Thrivent’s instructions. Luther House is identified on their list of approved ministries as Lutheran Campus Council of Corvallis.

Sustaining Presence Giving Club: This is an option for those who want to make periodic, regular gifts to the ministry of Luther House. You choose how often to give. Either send a check to Luther House, 211 NW 23rd Street, Corvallis, Oregon 97330, or use the secure electronic giving option above to establish your gift amount and frequency.

Endowment Fund: The “We Care for the Future” Endowment was created by and for campus ministries of the ELCA to invest in the future of campus ministry. Gifts given to Luther House for the endowment fund are deposited in the pooled assets of the ELCA Foundation. Each quarter we receive a dividend from invested funds which we use to support Luther House programming. While the principle is protected, the growth increases ministry options for us. As the fund grows, so do the opportunities for new, creative campus ministry programs.

Alternative Gift Giving: This giving option honors a child, grandchild, spouse, partner, or friend on any special occasion. Make the gift in any amount in honor of any one or any occasion and Luther House will send a card acknowledging the honoree. Contact the Luther House office to find out more about this program.

Memorials and Gifts In Honor: Gifts in memory of a loved one or friend may be given at any time. Likewise, gifts to honor a person you admire are welcome. Send us a check with clear instructions about whether it’s a memorial or a gift in honor. Luther House will inform those you’ve honored unless you tell us it’s an anonymous gift. Send your check to Luther House, 211 NW 23rd Street, Corvallis, Oregon 97330, or use the giving options above to create a lasting memory or to honor someone.

Planned Giving: To help you create an estate plan that includes Luther House, the Oregon Synod Endowment Committee and representatives from the ELCA Foundation can work with you to match your ministry goals with your generosity. Contact the Luther House office to find out more about this program.
