Luther House has been awarded the Philip N. Knutson Endowment grant in the amount of $6,650 to fund a collaborative project, Growing Resilient Communities. Growing Resilient Communities will focus on teaching real-life skills to young adults at three critical points: transitioning between high school and college, moving from residence halls to independent living, and preparing for life after college graduation. Growing Resilient Communities will partner with community organizations to teach skills like cooking, basic power tool operation, and trauma informedness.
